The Mehdees

We are a family in South Florida, and this site is our shoebox of days: the drives, the questions from the back seat, the birds that held still long enough. We keep it in one place so the days stop blurring together.

Three things live here. The first is the channel: short videos on YouTube, mostly the family and the kids. Maybe someday it grows into sharing what we learn along the way; we will see. Our Instagram is mostly photos, with a short reel or story now and then.

The second is the photography. One of us slips out to the wetlands with a camera when the week allows, and the galleries hold the best of it: herons and egrets, alligators at eye level, roses after rain, and the neon side of Florida after dark. The journal keeps the field notes, and the FAQ answers the questions we get most.

The third is Aura Looks Up, a small comic that started with our daughter's space questions. Season one is up, with a glossary for the big words.
